day-OOOOOOO

I don't know about you, but I often stumble upon words too big for my own good. Or even just ones I can't seem to make any sense of. Usually I just go on, telling myself someday I will jot these down, look them up and feel warm and fuzzy. This blog is a spot where we can all discover new words just for the fun of it.

Oreos, Ostriches, Oranges and Orbit, the Isotopes mascot, are just a few wonderful O-words, now let us explore deeper ones....

- Obsequious/ob-SEE-kwee-us/adj.- servilely attentive, compliant to excess, fawning

- Opossum/noun - a nocturnal, arboreal marupial of the family Didelphiade

- Obloquy/noun - abusive and defamatory language; damage to one's reputation

Definitions provided by the dictionary, of course.
